Living Buddha, Living Christ
A thesis on the teachings of Tich Nhat Hanh a.k.a. Thay {teacher}

“When you are a truly happy Christian, you are also a Buddhist, and vice versa.” T.N.H.
In a lucid, and meditative prose, this Christ conscious guru of spiritual matters, and well renown Zen Buddhist, brings to True Christianity an appreciation of its beauty that could only be conveyed by an outsider looking in. By exploring the crossroads and common ground that his Buddhist teachings and the true spiritual teachings of Christ occupy, we are able to reawake our understandings of the greater message…….Christ Consciousness! There is no other way of witnessing to God’s Existence, but by aliveness. The aliveness spoken of has it roots in what the biblical tradition calls the “Holy Spirit”. The word “spirit” means “breath”. So in all actuality, the breath of god is the essence of our spirit. The Holy Spirit and the Christ Consciousness are indeed one, for the Spirit of the Lord fills the whole universe and holds all things together. From this biblical perspective, there has never been a human being who is not alive with god’s own breath {spirit}. For all those who are led by the Spirit of God, these are the daughters and sons of God.
“It is safer to approach God through the Holy Spirit than through theology” T.N.H.

Discussing and disputing God is not the best use of our energy, for if we touch the Holy Spirit, we approach God not as a concept but as a living reality. True reality is free from all notions, making it our duties as vessels of light to transcend words and concepts to be able to fully encounter reality. Springtime is at hand. When will you ever bloom if not here and now? Let us contemplate and speak of the unspeakable and not with words, speak to me of God! As the divine manifested thru Jesus in the form of the Christ, so can the divine spark light a fire in each and every one of us, for within lies the same potential for enlightenment that began as a seed in the heart of the master. The kingdom lies inside each and everyone of us, When we come to know ourselves, then we become known, and we realize that it is us who are the children of the living mother/father God. If we remain ignorant of ourselves, than we dwell in poverty, a poverty of our own making. The living Jesus indeed offers us access to God, but instead of claiming to be the “only begotten son of God”, Jesus assures us that “it is you who are the children of God”. “For whosoever drinks from my mouth will become as I am, and I will become that person, and the mysteries will be revealed to him, thus sayeth the Christ!

“For whoever has not known himself knows nothing, but he who has known himself has already understood the depths of all things.” -THE CHRIST

"The mind is everything. What you think, you become. When you realize how perfect everything is, you will tilt your head back and laugh at the sky."- The Christ Conscious Buddah
