OUR MOTHER GOD: THE FEMININE ASPECT OF THE CREATOR
How is it that throughout the history of spiritual beliefs, in cultures all over the world, people believed in both male and female gods and goddesses? {Differing aspects or faces of the Creator} Evidence of this is found in the artifacts of naked, pregnant women constantly dug up by archeologists all over Europe, the Middle East, and India. Yet somehow, somewhere, the Mother God seemed to have disappeared. Now is the time, to bring to light, the suppression of this vital piece of spiritual information, by the masculine driven politics of today’s religious dogma.
It’s time for our Mother God, the feminine aspect of our Creator, to come forward and be accepted as the co- creator that she is. Our Mother God, who has prevailed throughout
human history, can no longer be denied.
From the earliest documented history, there’s been a counterpart to the male Creator. In some religions the female was seen as the prime creator, or as a virgin who gave birth to a messiah or ruling God. Ancient cultures and some primitive cultures today see God as an androgynous, creative energy, neither feminine nor masculine. Certain symbols are used by many people to help give glimpses of the numinous, divine, unknowable powers beyond conscious human experience and control. Among these symbols are the patriarchal Father, the Mother Goddess, and the androgynous primal human.
Whether in symbolic form or in reality, the themes of intellect, emotion, and enlightenment thru Christ consciousness are continually being repeated. Whether she has been called Sophia, the Goddess of wisdom, whose name is found throughout the Bible or Theodora the fertility goddess mentioned in the Other Bible, which consisted of holy texts that were excluded from the Old and New Testaments. Aradia, Isis, Cybele, Innana, Ishtar, Anat, Aphrodite, Astarte, Sedna, Taleoinan, Virgin Mary, or any other name given to a face of the feminine aspect of the Divine.
Our Mother God has always been here, and always will be, as the feminine aspect of our eternal Creator! Whether you believe in God, Goddess, or BOTH, they have always been and always will be. From their love combined came the Holy Spirit of Christ Consciousness. It almost seems as if architects of the Old Testament felt threatened by the female aspect of God. Yet, in Genesis lies the secret! The use of the word US, in describing the creation of both male and female in the likeness of God. The US refers to the creator who made humans, and it happens to be a plural pronoun which means more than one. So we see in Genesis that Mother God was either a part of God or co-created with God as God or Goddess unto herself.
Our Mother God was pushed out of favor by the patriarchal priests of ancient times, sending the beliefs under ground where the Goddess continued to be worshipped in secrecy due to the fear of being killed or admonished for idolatry. Thou not well known in Western culture, Muhammad, the prophet of the faith of Islam, actually put forth teachings that made women equal with men. In his time{610-632 c.e.] that was unheard of. The Koran is another ancient, holy text, that the patriarchy of the Islamic faith has suppressed information from by undoing much of the equality given to women and making changes that like in Christianity, have an impact to this day.
We are not receiving in any religion all the facts, simply due to the controlling personalities of a few hypocritical, self-righteous individuals. The same goes in Hindu where a patriarchal society is promoted because a son can cremate his parents but a daughter cannot. Where a man performs most Hindu rituals, while the wife stands by his side. Where the father gives away the daughter, while the mother stands sobbing behind the pillar. And where sons are prized, more than daughters. This puts the intentional ignorance of our Mother God on a big bright podium for all to see……it’s completely apparent there is a suppression of truth going on here, due to the fear of mass enlightenment and equality. Why has every culture spanning our globe since ancient times had the female principle, except for the continents of North America, and parts of South America? Is it because maybe it was the target of countless miss-guided, yet well meaning, fundamentalist Christian missionaries?
Oh how they have dishonored the Christ!
Mother God was a part of all ancient civilizations, until the ignorant patriarchal hierarchy of “it’s our way or no way” religious bigots, began to suppress her. Thus: suppressing the truth. We are positive that the Dead Sea Scrolls date or even pre-date the original biblical writings. When the original Bible went to press, the Dead Sea Scrolls hadn’t been discovered yet, so they were left out. Also, if you read the King James Version of the Bible, you are missing seven books from the Catholic Bible. In the third and fourth centuries, the Catholic Church’s “Council of Nicea,” basically decided on which books or religious writings would be included in the Bible, and then canonized them. Many books relating to reincarnation, and the Mother God were destroyed by monks who felt these topics would detract from Christianity. Many people today feel that there are up to 41 additional books that are lost or missing from the Bible. This number does not include the Dead Sea Scrolls. Could a truth that has sustained itself for more than 2000 years, not be a truth at all?
The politics of religion has declared what is in the Bible today, and it’s a testimony to God that the missing written material survived in spite of religion trying to suppress it. For 2000 years our Mother God has waited until the world in its chaos was ready for her kindness and her sword that can cut thru the darkness. Unlike ancient religions that accepted and embraced their female gods, the paternalistic religious writers did not want the Mother of God, the Virgin Mary, to be a goddess herself, so they made her a woman and decided that the woman who was chosen to give birth to a God-Man could not have any sexual interaction with a male. This, they felt, would make her unsuitable to be called the mother of a deity. These suppressive liars somehow were convinced that recognizing the feminine aspect would take away from the Christ principle. How could it?!
No-one elevated women as Christ did!
So how can the concept of a Mother God go against Christian principles? The Bible is filled with references to women who were like disciples, who followed the apostles, and aided them in all their ways. Not only did Jesus elevate these women, along with his beloved Mary Magdalene, but his own Mother was a great part of his life. The Virgin Mary was a representation of the Goddess. She is the manifestation of the gentler, kinder side of God.
Not saying that the true masculine aspect of our Creator has any negative qualities but only to express the whole spectrum of the Eternal Mother/Father God. Christ is the whole of the creator, both feminine and masculine aspects combined. In Christ’s mercy and wisdom came about the new LAW, a gentler, more caring side of a God that was suppressed in its fullness, by the ignorance of humanities religious dogma. One of the main truths guarded by the Knights Templar, was that there was a female God, but because of paternal rule, revealing this would have been considered heresy, and meant sudden death, and all heresy means is that you must believe what the leaders say, and don’t think for yourself!
Let me advise you as a Gnostic, seek after your own truths!
Christ taught LOVE, that’s it! That’s the life of God on earth, in a nutshell…..”LOVE”! There was not a dogmatic bone in Jesus’ body. Nor is there a dogmatic thought in God’s Spirit, the Christ Consciousness. The egos of this patriarchal, political, squadron of darkness, and lies, in essence gave rise to the Inquisition, where at least seven million women were persecuted for being so called “witches”.
These “burning times” are a great big black eye on the face of this religion that is in ALL truth based upon principles of LOVE, FORGIVENESS, and GRACE.
