THE PRIMAL ESSENCE OF CHRIST

Our generation’s spirituality needs a REFORMATION! But me as one single person,
will not, and indeed cannot, define it. A solitary event won’t define it either. This reformation will manifest in the form of total enlightenment thru the Holy Spirit of the Creator…otherwise known as the Christ Consciousness. We are being called to live passionately, deeply, creative lives, courageously for the cause of Christ. This reformation is not born of a new idea, in truth; it is born in the form of something a little older, a little more ancient, a little more PRIMAL!
People have a tendency to complicate the gospel, and the “cause” of Christ. To Jesus it was simple…….”Love god with all your heart, mind, and strength!” This truth resonates profoundly in the aspect of pursuing Gods face in everything that one does, acknowledging the mother/father in all, becoming one with the ever pervading Christ Consciousness of God. Let compassion, wonder, curiosity, and power from the very essence of God’s heart fill you. I think this generation of Light seekers has conveniently been blinded to how rewarding and yet how difficult it can be to follow in the footsteps of the Christ! We have to become Warriors to the cause of Christ! The truths in Christianity have been diluted, and we have settled for superficialities…..NONSENSE! Pursue the TRUTH! The LIGHT!
I can’t help but feel like a form of Christianity has been accepted that is more educated, but less powerful in Christ. More civilized and proper{like the Pharisees}, and less compassionate. More acceptable but less authentic than what our spiritual ancestors practiced. The accumulated layers of Christianities religious tradition and institutions have obscured what lies beneath. JESUS was a genius! He had the ability to simplify complex spiritual truths in unforgettable ways. We as his followers tend to do the opposite. Now back to the Pharisees! Simply put, we complicate true Christianity. This religious tendency to over complicate very simple truths, traces its roots back to these ancient “holier than thou’s”. And trust me, they are alive and well to this very day in churches all around the world. The quest for the lost soul of Gnostic Christianity begins with rediscovering what it means to love God with all our heart, soul, mind, and strength. Just think of it as love to the fourth power. The heart of Christianity is PRIMAL PASSION! The soul of Christianity is PRIMAL WONDER! The mind of Christianity is PRIMAL CURIOSITY. AND THE STRENTH OF CHRISTIANITY IS PRIMAL ENERGY!
The Christ Consciousness calls out from within you! You cannot just listen to half of what is said. You must listen to everything for it is a package deal. If you tune out the convicting voice inside you, the comforting voice cannot be heard either. Open your hearts to the heart of Christ. Who said……. “I will give you a new heart and put a new spirit in you. I will remove from you your heart of stone and give you a heart of flesh”
Life is filled with miraculous moments, but nothing compares to the moment that Christ is revealed thru you. When you give your heart to Christ, Christ in return gives you a new heart. Compassionately, your heart begins to break for the things that break the heart of God. This is the key to what it means to love God with all your heart. ARE WE PRACTICING THE TRUE TEACHING?
Are we making the Living Christ a real presence in our churches today? Are our monasteries {Sangas} really filled to the brim with the Living Christ as reflected in the Buddha? The Buddha and the monks and nuns of his time were in continuous communication with other religious faiths and the disciples of them. The Buddha made every effort to remove the barriers between classes and beliefs. Like Jesus he accepted untouchables and other outcasts into his Holy community. Are we doing the same with the poor and oppressed of our day? Love is the goal here! Or is it? There is a question for each individual to ask themselves… Are we bringing the healer to those who suffer? The Buddha accepted women into his fold and they became teachers equal to that of the monks. Jesus also taught women freely. The first person he revealed himself to after his resurrection was a woman! Why are we not allowing women to be ordained priests and teachers? The Buddha and his monks, and the nuns of Jesus practice voluntary poverty. They owned and were content with just what they needed. It seems our religious institutions are doing the complete opposite of this by simply building and acquiring more. The Buddha and his monks went begging everyday to practice humility and to remain in contact with people in their society. Jesus in his time did very much the same thing. He did not own anything. He always made himself available to people in need. He reached out and touched others in order to better understand how to help them. Religion thru the ages has, more often than not, catered to itself rather than the TRUTH. Whether, due to the politics of the times, the decreasing numbers of their congregations, or how much money they were bringing in. It has affected the true Wisdom of God! We are lost in a sea of man-made dogma, keeping us from seeing the truth! As Gnostic Warriors for Christ, its time to shine light on the true teachings of Christ!
